So the other night (I say the other night, but I really mean a couple weeks ago) I went out to see some of my old highschool friends’ band play at my favorite local spot, The Wherehouse. I’ve been friends with Jordan and Tommy since boyscouts way back when and I’ve known Don for a while as well. Their band, Major Potential, are sort of a really fast, energetic, environmental punk/hardcore band. It had been a while since I’d been to a show, so this was definitely a fun time.
It was definitely a great time. The band killed it and the show had a great turnout which is awesome to see in Newburgh.
Also: for those of you who live in the area and have yet to try The Wherehouse, then be sure to check it out. I’m usually hanging around there at least a few nights a week. They’ve got a ton of BBQ and vegan food and chili…. It’s definitely the place to be in Newburgh.
So that’s it… Punk rock and great food lives in Newburgh.
