Another riff…
I came back from my trip abroad with dozens of ideas for songs. I’m pretty good at starting songs but it takes me a while to finish them. I really need to sit down and complete a few of these songs, but until then… this will have to do.

Riffage.
Feeling slightly creative today… This is a riff I started messing around with a couple of days ago. Still in the works; my fingers are a bit rusty at the moment.

edit: My hybrid of a theme won’t allow me to center the video… and that bums me out.
Belfast
During the month of September I took a little trip to Europe. I was fortunate enough to take visit Ireland for the first time. These are some photos from the 3 or 4 days I spent in Belfast. I can’t wait to go back.

New Blog
Long time no post… So for whatever reason, I haven’t posted a thing in months.
I’m in England at the moment. My month plus, spontaneous trip overseas is coming to a close this Tuesday so I will have a few things to share in the way of photographs.
I hope you enjoy the way this blog looks. These are the photos that make up my header:

Guess The Song pt II
The last song I played is a song called “Gold” by the Irish band “Interference.” The song was on the soundtrack for the movie “Once,” and Glenn Hansard plays it with them.

Welcome To Miami
We just got into Miami really early this morning. We hit the beach this morning and now we’re at the venue. Going to hit South Beach tonight. Need to have some Cuban food. Beautiful weather, lovely times.

I'm a writer
This is something I jotted down on my stupid little phone at the bar after the show in Philly the other day:
There was a sense of urgency at the bar during those final passing minutes before midnight. I waved my dollar bills frantically in attempt to catch the bar tender’s eye and take advantage of those last few moments that the “one dollar drink deal” was still in effect.

St. Patrick's Day 2010
This is the second year I went into the city on St. Pats… It’s madness. The day/night I ended up having was honestly one of the craziest of my life.
Here are a few photos from the city. They don’t even scratch the surface of the amount mayhem that went down, but hey… You get the point.
A time was had… I’m going to upload some pictures for real...

Nathen
nathenmcvittie:
There are so many things I want that I just can’t have. Clothes and food mainly. I just got jealous of my friend Rob’s thrift jacket purchase. I recently lost the most important piece of clothing to me - my boots. And I am never lucky at thrift stores. So frustrated right now. Ugh.
I somehow pissed Nathen off with my jacket… I’m not even going to tell him what I ate...

Being Sick
So I’ve been ill for like a week now. This is annoying as hell to me because I’m usually very healthy. At some point last week I had a migraine which was a first, but recovered from that and was feeling pretty ok by around mid week.
When all this snow hit this weekend, I found myself outside a whole bunch shoveling and whatnot which must’ve resulted in me to catch something....

Punk Rock in Newburgh
So the other night (I say the other night, but I really mean a couple weeks ago) I went out to see some of my old highschool friends’ band play at my favorite local spot, The Wherehouse. I’ve been friends with Jordan and Tommy since boyscouts way back when and I’ve known Don for a while as well. Their band, Major Potential, are sort of a really fast, energetic, environmental...

Macaron Attempt
This is sort of a late Valentine’s type deal, but this past Saturday I tried my hand at the French style macaron. For those of you who have never gotten the chance to try a macaron (they’re a bit rare in the states, the only place I’ve had them outside of Paris was in Manhattan), it’s a little cookie that consists of two meringue shells with cream in the middle....
